FAQs
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Paypal are accepted. Sorry but we do not accept checks.
What type of pets do you accept?
We groom cats and dogs of all breeds and all sizes. Occasionally, we also accept other animals on a case by case basis. Just call and ask if you have another type of pet you would like to have groomed.
How fast can I get a quote?
Getting a quote is as easy as visiting our services page. There you will find our basic pricing structure. Please keep in mind that the condition of your pet could affect the pricing. For example, a pet that is heavily matted, is extremely aggressive, or has a flea and tick infestation will be subject to an additional fee. For a more thorough and exact price we would have to see your pet in person.
How long does it take to have my pet groomed?
Most of our grooms take 2-3 hours from start to finish. Additional time may be required if your pet is a puppy or kitten, if they are heavily matted, or if they are aggressive or fearful towards grooming.
What types of shampoos will be used on my pet?
First and foremost, we only use products that are 100% safe for your pet. We use Hydra by Pet Society. Hydra Moist is our basic shampoo and it is great for both cats and dogs helping to maintain a clean coat while moisturizing their skin at the same time. We also offer additional Spa services upon request. Those include De-shed treatment by Espree, Dead Sea Mineral Mud Bath by Espree, Therapeutic Flea & Tick by Espree, Southbark's Blueberry Facial, Cleopatra's Luxurious Milk Bath, Warren London's Paw Fizzes, and Hypoallergenic, Intense Coat Repair, and Whitening by Hydra.
Do you use heated drying cages?
No, all of our pets are dried with either a hand held dryer, a HV dryer, or a fan. Your pet is never left unattended while being groomed or while drying.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we work through appointment only. You can make an appointment by calling or texting 336.225.8486, email woofworx@gmail.com, or from our facebook page. We do over small services as a walk-in basis (please see our Service Page for a list of those services and pricing).
What vaccines are required?
The laws in NC require that all pets must have a current rabies vaccine. That is the only requirement that we have in order for your pet to be groomed. We do however strongly encourage that you follow your veterinarian's recommendations regarding vaccines.
Will my pet be around other animals?
Yes, we do have other animals in the salon. All pets are monitored and are given the opportunity to interact and play with others. We reserve the right to kennel those who are not comfortable with other pets.
At what age can my puppy be groomed?
We recommend getting your puppy or kitten groomed as soon as possible. We start grooming pets as early as 8 weeks old. Grooming can be scary at first for pets, the earlier grooming is started the faster your pet will adjust to the process which will make it a much more pleasant experience. We offer a package to help young puppies and kittens get used to grooming at affordable rates.
